Flint Field Services QA/QC Lead

FLINT FIELD SERVICES CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Flint Field Services Ltd., a division of Flint Energy, is currently accepting resume applications from qualified candidates for the position of QA/QC Lead, located in our Fort McMurray Office for the CNRL Project.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Leads and coordinates the efforts of QA/QC Advisors to assist in development and implementation of QA/QC programs
- Develops and implements QA/QC processes
- Schedules and coordinates staff to provide on site audits and any visual inspection or testing services required to ensure the creation of a quality product and service
- Maintains the completion, reporting and archiving of required paperwork that tracks project activities, progress and performance
- Actively participates as a member of the QA/QC department identifying and providing input of any opportunities for continuous improvement and recognizing any barriers to the delivery and execution of this service to all other operating units
- Applies a systematic, consistent approach in the planning, organization, communication and monitoring of service and adheres to all reporting requirements
- Displays a strong commitment to all safety and general policy and procedure in day to day activities


Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years in QA/QC in a construction industry focused environment
Previous experience in a supervisory role

Education:

High school diploma
Post secondary certificate, diploma or degree from an accredited college, university or technical school
Professional training from an accredited professional industry association

Key Competencies:

Strong team player
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail and results oriented individual with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Technical proficiency, including MS Office and accounting programs
